Symptoms of disease
are demonstrations of health:
so, healing begins.
Everything is
constantly unfolding, and
sometimes we notice.
The first line is call
and the second is response.
The third is presence.
I find my rest in
the solace of this moment.
Nothing else exists.
Haiku is the brief
bonzai of poetry, all
pruned to perfection.
If I take my life
I’m simply taking my life
with me as I go.
The ultimate act
of living consciously is
dying consciously.
To murder myself
would do violence to the
life I’ve lived so far.
Not far north is found
my favorite palindrome:
Ukiah haiku.
When I’ve learned to rest,
then I can finally learn
to begin to trust.
Enter or reject
this flow of gratitude and
generosity.
What I get to do
is not what I’ve got to do.
I have my choices.
This bright particle
I am floats upon the Dark
Flow that’s also me.
